Un-housed VCAs are shipped as a coil assembly and a field assembly, without shaft and alignment bushings. BEI Kimco’s un housed actuators are 0.5 to 5 inches in diameter with peak forces ranging from 0.16 to 225 Lbs. The total stroke range of BEI Kimco’s un-housed actuators is 0.04 to 2.25 inches. These require a customer supplied alignment system.
Un-housed voice coil actuators are ideally suited for such demanding applications as semiconductor equipment, defense systems and life-sustaining medical systems. Un-housed VCAs are most cost effective VCA and ready to ship from stock.
