Rectangular voice coil actuators are un-housed and require a customer supplied alignment system. Rectangular voice actuators are typically used in long stroke applications. BEI Kimco’s range of rectangular VCA have strokes up to 4” and peak forces up to 149 lbs. Most of our rectangular VCA's are custom designs (as seen in these pictures). VCA TYPES:
CYL = Cylindrical, REC = Rectangular, R(F) = Rectangular flat, MM = Moving magnet, HOU = Housed, ROT = Rotary.
