BEI Kimco Magnetics is pleased to announce the introduction of its new DIF23 Series brushless dc motors. These 2.3-inch diameter motors are the latest addition to our growing family of motion control products. They offer all the benefits of brushless dc technology, and feature a finned housing that increases the surface area of the motors thereby lowering the motors thermal resistance and improving the overall thermal dissipation. They are available in four standard frame lengths of 1.3-, 1.6-, 1.9-, and 2.2- inches. Typical operating speeds range from 4,000 RPM to 20,000 RPM, with continuous stall (and Peak) torque ratings of 8 oz.-in. (24 oz.-in.), 16 oz.-in. (40 oz.-in.), 22 oz.-in. (50 oz.-in.) and 32 oz.-in. (80 oz.-in.) respectively. Other torques and operating speeds are also available in modified configuration.
