BEI Kimco Magnetics is pleased to announce the introduction of its new LA24-20-000A Voice Coil Actuator. The LA24-20-000A actuator, featuring a patented interleaved magnetic circuit design, is a direct-drive, force-generating servo device measuring 2 3/8 inches diameter by 2 inches. The actuator features peak and continuous force output of 25 and 10 lbs., respectively, over a total stroke of 5/8 inch. Non-preferred position, hysteresis free, two-wire operation is provided for areas that cannot tolerate backlash or rotary-to-linear conversion mechanisms, and where high acceleration rates and position accuracy are critical.
